Devotion titled God’s hospitality

“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11”

The opening scripture forms part of the song David sang to the Lord. David had realized the importance of seeking the Lord for His strength; in fact he had realized the benefits of the continual face seeking of the Lord. God is ever ready to host His children who call on Him; He is never weary or bored by His children. God is very hospitable and receives everyone with open arms. There is nothing too little to speak to Him about; He is always ready to listen to us. Dear reader, be encouraged to discuss everything on your mind with the Lord. Share your thoughts here!

Devotion titled believe prophecies

“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 1 Timothy 1:18”

The scripture says greater is he that prophesizes than he that speaks with tongues (1 Corinthians 14:5). The apostle Paul urged Timothy to pray fervently so that all the prophecies on his life could manifest. This explains why some prophecies do not come to pass. The fulfillment of prophecies is not automatic; the recipient must make a conscious effort to pray to see it come to pass. There are demons assigned by the devil to fight prophecies, so we must be on the alert to fight against them so our prophecies can materialize. Dear reader, have you received any prophecy from a Pastor or a servant of God? It is time to fervently pray to see it manifest, don’t just write it off. Share your testimony here!

Devotion titled the substance of faith

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1”

A substance is something that can be seen and touched; faith should be viewed in that manner simply because God sees our faith. The evidence of our faith is the Word of God. What do you desire, need, or want as a child of God? Look for the evidence of your need or desire in the Word of God. In other words, have scriptures for every need or desire; pray with this evidence without any shadow of doubt and you will receive the solution to your need. Dear reader, do you have evidence for the things you are praying for? If you do then begin to rejoice for the solution and you will receive it physically. Share your thoughts here!

Devotion titled true joy

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11”

There is only one place that the fullness of joy can be found: this place is the presence of God. In the old covenant the priest and the prophets were the only people who could come to the presence of God. However, in the new covenant the children of God are born into the presence of God. This shows that as a child of God you can live in continuous joy if you fellowship with the Word of God and the Spirit of God. God causes His children to will and do His good pleasure; this happens when the child of God has developed an obedient heart. Dear reader, do you live in continuous joy? Share your comments here!

Devotion titled constant

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8”

It has been established that the only thing that is constant is change. In other words, everything under heaven goes through a period of change. However, everything in heaven does not change; Jesus Christ in heaven and on earth does not change. He remains the Son of God forever: the same yesterday, and today, and forever. This makes Jesus Christ relevant for all generations. If you are reading this message and you don’t have Jesus as Lord and Savior in your life, say “Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, I receive you into my life today as Lord and Savior, I am born again and I receive eternal life into my spirit, amen.” God bless you. Devotion titled God is more than enough

“It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. Psalm 18:32”

The scriptures above are loaded with so much for the believer in Christ Jesus. If you need strength today, ask God for strength and He will also make your way perfect. If you need speed to work with, go to God for grace and He will place you at a high position. He teaches us to fight the fight of faith and to win all our battles. He protects His children from backsliding and makes them great. He also keeps us from falling and enlarges our steps. What a mighty God we serve! Share your testimony here!

Devotion titled protocol

“But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 1 Corinthians 11:3”

The God we serve has laid down a chain of command that exists in His kingdom. This implies that the Father is the first in command, followed by Christ Jesus, followed by the man, and finally the woman. If this chain of command is adhered to there will be peace in the fellowship we have with one another. Dear reader, are you happy with where God has placed you in the chain of command?
